Batholomew College of Health Technology holds 12th Convocation

Batholomew College of Health Technology, Shao, Kwara State will on Wednesday 16th December, 2020 holds its 12th Convocation ceremony.
The event will take place at the College Convocation Arena at its permanent site along Malete road.
According to a press statement signed by the Rector, Dr Batholomew Owoicho, the convocation ceremony will be graced by the Ohoro of Shao Kingdom, the Alaiyeluwa Oba Alhaji (Dr) Bamidele Adesina Adegbite, Oyerinde II, traditional chieftaincy title holders in Shao, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, state Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Jummai Abdulrahman, Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Sikiru Garuba Mohammed, Director of Tertiary Education, other officials from state government agencies, management and staff of various tertiary institutions in the state, officials of the Kwara State House of Assembly and from other parts of the country among others.
Owoicho noted that the college has invested immensely I n relevant infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, library, teaching aids, training and re-training of its staff and employment of more personnel across board in the college.
“These has enhanced the status of the college as a leading privately owned institution in the state that is providing enabling environment for students and employees of the institution thereby producing fully baked graduates in various fields in health technology with sound moral character and discipline”, he emphasised.
The college administrator and chairman, governing council of the College appreciated officials of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology for the support given to the college.
He thanked the host community and all stakeholders for their abiding faith in the college, “we appreciate their support that enable the college to thrive in peace and harmony”.
He assured that the college will continue to liaise with regulatory bodies to give credence to their courses and certificates.
“We are stoically committed to maintaining high standards in quality training both in character and learning, such that our products can compete favourably with many of their contemporaries world wide”, he assured.
