When Abdulrazaq shocked Kwarans with 26-yr-old commissioner-nominee, Mrs Moddibo

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on Tuesday
surprised several Kwarans following the list of four female
commissioner-nominees he forwarded to the state House of Assembly.
On the list of the commissioner-nominees is Mrs Sa’adatu
Modibbo-Kawu, the wife of the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission
(NBC)boss, Alhaji Modibbo-Kawu and  Arinola Fatimoh Lawal, daughter of
former governor, Mohammed Lawal and the niece of Governor Abdulrazaq.
However, one nominee that has continued to generate debate among
residents of the state and beyond is  26-year-old serving corps
member, Joana Nnazua Kolo who hails from Edu Local Government Area of
the state. Miss Kolo, who is presently serving in Jigawa State is a
2018 graduate of Library Science from the Kwara State University
(KWASU).
Some of the residents of the state condemned the choice of the governor.
According to one Gambari Abubakar on Facebook, he wrote; “Not good at
all…AA should be above this political correctness/pettiness.
Choosing a 26 years old serving corps member with no experience as
commissioner is illogical, Please, no one should even try to justify
this with “learn on the job,” there are portfolios for that.
“And Modibbo will be at the federal, his wife at the state
…seriously disappointed in AA. There are even more competent females
from other families. Share the prosperity now, that is natural
justice.”
