Bolanta: We’ll all miss courageous adviser – Gov Ahmed

Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed, has described the late Chairman of the Kwara All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders’ Forum, Alhaji Suleiman Oba Bolanta as a straightforward and courageous person, saying that the party and government in particular would miss the deceased’s contributions to governance.
Governor Ahmed who recently visited the Bolanta family at GRA, Ilorin, described the demise of the APC chieftain as a painful exit.
He stressed that the APC chieftain would be greatly missed for his leadership roles and sterling qualities of humility, just and fairness, adding that the state government will only take solace in the fact that death is an inevitable end of all mortals.
Ahmed urged the deceased’s family to promote the legacies and virtues the APC chieftain represented and shun all acts capable of dragging the good legacies in the mud.
The Governor however prayed God to grant the APC chieftain eternal rest and the family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
Speaking on behalf of the family, the deceased eldest son, Mallam Solihu Sulaiman Bolanta expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed for his support for the family while the patriarch was alive and since his demise.
It would be recalled that Alhaji Sulaiman Oba Bolanta died penultimate Saturday at the age of 88.
