Emirate youths laud Saraki over emergence of new CMD

 

Youths under the auspices of Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association has lauded the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki over the appointment of Professor Abdullahi Yusuf as the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).
The commendation is contained in a statement signed by the union’s President, Alhaji Babatunde Salaudeen and Secretary, Alhaji Uthman Muhammed and made available to National Pilot at the weekend.
According to the statement, the youth also acknowledged the contributions of the Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abdulfatahi Ahmed, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari and the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole towards appointment of Yusuf.
They then prayed for God’s protection, guidance and direction for the new CMD in the discharge of his duties towards taking the hospital to higher pedestal.
Recall that Prof. Yusuf emerged as substantive Chief Medical Director on  19th June 2018, following the expiration of tenure of his predecessor, Prof. Abdulwaheed Olatinwo, whose eight years tenure lapsed in March 2018.
