The newly appointed Senior Special Assistance to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed on Poverty Alleviation, Hajia Aisha Sulu-Gambari has promised the people of her constituency in Magaji Ngeri in Ilorin West local government more dividends of democracy even as she empowered over 35 women with cash reward.
Sulu-Gambari while addressing the beneficiaries who were presented with ten thousand naira each promised to continue to do more for members of her constituents and bring them more dividends of democracy.
She said she was aware of the challenges being faced by the women and promised always look into their plight with a view to finding solution to it.
She added that the women constitute a large part of the voting population, adding that they will not regret while her tenure lasted because they will always be carried along in the scheme of things in the constituency.
In his remarks, the Ilorin West Organising Secretary, Mr Aduagba Olalete called on the beneficiaries and the people of the constituency to continue to support Hajia Sulu-Gambari who he noted has genuine love for them and very determined to do more.
Other ward officials at the programme include the APC chairman of the ward, Alhaji Olatunji Saliu Alao and Woman Leader, Hajia Lambe Sulieman among other party officials.
