Sobi FM Boss, Lukman Mustapha denies acting as front for politicians

The Chairman of Sobi FM, Alhaji Lukman Olayiwola Mustapha has described allegation by some people on social media that he is being used as front by some politicians in the state untrue.
Mustapha expressed his displeasure while receiving his supporters who stormed the Ilorin International Airport to welcome him on Tuesday.
He described it is an insult for him to be an agent for any politician givingย  his age, and wealth of experience and challenged anyone with proof to come forward with it.
He added that he believed Kwarans deserved more than their present status in terms of good governance which informed his decision to come and serve the people.
He said “for us to change from PDP to APC is because of some peculiar circumstances surrounding us and for us as a party we believe that we should be able to chart a new course to achieve our noble objective away from the party that has been in government.
“As far as we are concerned, this decision is noble and it is part of the beauty of democracy offering alternative to the generality of the people.
On the primary, he described politics as a game of number and said he is doing everything possible to convince his colleagues that he is the best to be the party’s governorship candidate for 2019 elections.
He said “we acknowledged that there are a number of APC contestants in the state for governorship but what we dishing out will make us outstanding before other candidates in the state.
