Abdullahi mourns Adedoyin, Describes Her Death As Shocking

 

Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, a former Minister and PDP front line gubernatorial aspirant, has described as shocking the death of Honourable Funke Adedoyin, member representing Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Constituency in the House of Representatives.

 

Mallam Abdullahi, who described the news of Adedoyin’s death as saddening, extends his condolences to the family of the deceased, her constituents, her colleagues in the green chamber, as well as to the people and government of Kwara State over the loss of the patriot and dedicated lawmaker.

Abdullahi notes the contributions of Adedoyin in several facets of governance as both a former minister and lawmaker, specifically reiterating that her stint as Minister of youth development was pivotal to the overall achievements of that Ministry.

Abdullahi, himself a former minister for youth development, said Hon. Adedoyin was one of his predecessors that he drew inspiration from while serving in the ministry.

“Hon. Adedoyin was a woman of excellence who took her service to humanity very serious. Her achievements in all positions she has held, particularly her undeniable achievements in her current position as a Representative stands her out as a hardworking woman who didn’t take people’s trust for granted

“Although her passage was sudden and untimely, I urge all of us to take solace in the fact that she lived a life of impact. I pray God repose her soul and grant all of us the courage to bear her exit. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace”, Abdullahi prayed
