Nigerian wins 100m gold in Chinese Inter Universities Games

 

A Nigerian schooling in China, Japheth Abashe, has emerged champion of the 100m at the just concluded inter University games in China.

Abashe, a product of Coach Felix Academic and Sports Foundation, completed the race in 11.12 Secs.

The representative of Liaoning University, China, who is just 18 years old, graduated from Faith Academy Kaduna with the 2016/2017 last year.

The 100 level student also finished 4th place during the 2017 National Youth Games in ilorin, where he represented Kaduna State.

Reacting to the feat, Coach Felix Osiebe who is the founder of Coach Felix Academics and Sports Foundation, said he was not surprised by the feat.

“We are not surprised by the victory he recorded. Japhet is a disciplined athlete as we always teach them to be.”

In his academics he is also flourishing because here at the foundation, we combine both for all round mental and physical development, ” he added.
