Reps: OTJ step down for Bankole
Former Commissioner for Environment, Otunba Taiwo Joseph and an aspirant for the House of Representatives for Irepodun/Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin federal constituency has pulled out of the race.
OTJ as he is known in the political cycle made the announcement in a statement he personally signed last night. He said is has stepped down for Engr Dare Bankole
The statement reads: โFrom the directive of our great leader, Dr Bukola Saraki and the wish of our great party PDP, and perfect analysis of our party zoning in our federal constituency, I am stepping down from the race.
โEkiti/Irepodun/Isin has previously taken the position of Federal House of Representatives, so among them all it’s only Oke-Ero that has not been to that position before, which from a perfect zoning they are the next to take the baton of representing our federal constituency.
โOn this notion, I hereby step down for my lovely brother, Engr. Dare Bankole, and I want all my fans, my supporters and all my well wishers to join and give their one hundred percent support for him, in order to fulfill the mandate of our great party and let the dynasty of our great leader Senator Bukola Saraki continue through him in our constituency.
โLet everyone one of us remain peaceful and law abiding and give our support to him and we all shall enjoy the blessing at the endโ, he added.
