2019: Asa women go spiritual for Saraki, Atunwa

As the 2019 general elections draws nearer, a special prayer has been held for the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, the Kwara state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Hon Razak Atunwa, his counterpart for Asa/Ilorin West federal constituency, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Lawal and the entire candidates of the PDP to emerge victorious during the poll.
The prayer was organised by the party’s Kwara Central Senatorial Woman Leader, Hajia Hassanat Hussein, held on Saturday at Kuoh, Asa Local Government Area of the state.
Leading the prayer, Sheikh Omotayo Tijani prayed for the victory for all the party candidates and peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking with newsmen, the organiser, said the purpose of the prayer was for the party’s victory during the poll.
She further prayed for Allah’s protection and guidance for the Senate President and all the party candidates in the state.
The prayer session was attended by clerics and the party members in the state including the Bale of Kuoh Temidire community, represented by Alhaji Salman Sanni, the chairman of the party secretaries in the sixteen local government area of the state who double as the secretary of n Ilorin East local government, Alhaji Olateju Babatunde, Youth Leader, Ilorin East, Mr Saheed Olesin, the Ilorin East Auditor, Bashir Agidi and the party Secretary, Ifelodun local government, Mr Raphael Bamidele among others.
