Prepare for second coming of Jesus, Christians admonished

Christians have again been charged to be prayerful and be prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
A Cleric, Special Apostle Samson Ibidoja gave the charge on Sunday in his sermon delivered at the 57th anniversary of Shilloh Band and the Conference Ordination of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters.
Special Apostle Ibidoja who spoke on the topic “Watch for the second coming of Jesus Christ,” called on Christians to worship only the living God and be alive spiritually to receive abundant blessings.
The Cleric urged them to be good ambassadors of God and keep spreading the gospel.
Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA, Ita-Elepa, Ilorin in his message titled “Faith and Obedience produces Solution”, called on Christians to have absolute faith in Jesus Christ and obey constituted authority.
Reverend Adedoyin implored them to look unto God for solution to all problems and circumstances.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church off Yidi Road Ilorin also in his message titled “He is coming soon,” explained that events and happenings around the world indicated clearly that we are in the end-times.
Pastor Aransiola called on Christians to look forward with eagerness to His coming and win souls for the Kingdom of God.
Speaking on the topic “Harvesting The Promises of God”, the Minister in charge of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, City of Grace, Obbo road Ilorin, Reverend Kelechi Odii appealed to Christians to wholeheartedly Love God and live a total Life of obedience to God and His Word.
Reverend Jonathan John of First ECWA Idofin Ayekale charged Christians to move closer to God and desist from sin.
The Founder of the Holy Church of C & S Fogo fun olorun, kilanko road ilorin, Most Senior Apostle Isaac Adeniyi Opalere emphasised the need for Chrstians to bring forth their belongings to the house of the Lord.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo who centred his sermon on anointing for breakthrough urged Christians to remain holy for God to have His way in their lives.
Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin, appealed to Christians to move closer to God as His second coming is at hand.
