The NPFL/LA LIGA U-15 to commence, April – LMC

The league management body yesterday announces dates and centers in which the competition will take place.
The competition which is in collaboration with Spanish Football League (LaLiga) is set to begin the fourth month of the year, April – while Kaduna and Asaba, Delta State will be the two venues.
The verification and registration of document for NPFL clubs to register their youth players for the tournament as been scheduled to take-place on Saturday and Sunday, March 16th and 17th, 2019 at the Kaduna center and March 16th and 17th at the Asaba center according to the statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the League Management Company, Salihu Abubakar.
The eleven NPFL teams will undergo their verification and registration at the Kaduna center are, El Kanemi Warriors FC, Gombe United FC, Kada City FC, Kano Pillars FC, Kwara Stars FC and Lobi Stars FC, Nasarawa United FC, Niger Tornadoes FC, Plateau United FC, Wikki Tourists FC, Katsina United FC and Yobe Desert Stars FC.
However, the Asaba center will host Abia Warriors FC, Akwa United FC, Bendel Insurance FC, Enyimba Int’l FC, FC IfeanyiUbah and Go-Round FC. Others are; Heartland FC, MFM FC, Rangers Int’l FC, Remo Stars FC, Rivers United FC and Sunshine Stars FC.
Documents that are expected to be tendered by the NPFL clubs for the screening include, medical report/certificate, original birth certificate from the hospital and current school results, properly filled screening form, properly filled registration form and two (2) current passport photographs of each player.
The first edition of the tournament was won by the Bukola boys – and Olakunle Olusegun and Akinkunmi Amoo have been both called-up to the Golden Eaglets camp for their performance at the 2017 edition.
