The Imam of Agaka Mosque, Asa Dam Road, Ilorin, Ustaz Yusuf Pakata has charged Muslim parents to enrol their wards in Arabic school for Quranic education.
According to him, there is reward for Quranic education in life and hereafter from Allah.
Speaking with our reporter during the 8th Wolimat ceremony of Na’allah Centre of Arabic Studies, Islamic Village Ilorin, yesterday, Pakata said, “any parent that enrolled his or her ward for Quranic education will surely gain in this world and hereafter. Because the Hadith said any child that study the Quran and can read the Holy book and interpretation, Allah will grant such child the opportunity to set free at list 10 from his family members on the day of judgement.
“Those family members destined to enter hell fire will be set to Aljanat because of the Quranic knowledge of the child,” he divulged.
In his remarks, the Proprietor of the school, Alhaji Hassan Muhammed Na’allah urged parents to ensure their children have in-depth knowledge of the Qura as it will guide them against social vices.
He however lamented that parents preferred western education to Islamic education.
Speaking further, he applauded parents of the graduands for their unwavering support to their wards and the school.
Among the 14 graduands are; Abubakar Yusuf, Muhammad Awal Ibraheem, Habeeb Babatunde and Ajarat Abdulrasaq.
