Why I refused to challenge INEC’s omission of our logo in court – Kwara APN guber candidate

 

The Alternative Party of Nigeria (APN) governorship candidate in Kwara state for 2019 general elections, Amb. Mohammed Abubakar Mohammed has urged Kwarans to support the incoming administration and pray for rapid development of the state.
Mohammed who is currently on lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia made this call on Wednesday, noting that the place of God can’t be over emphasised in governance.
He added that the incoming administration under Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will need cooperation, understanding and support of Kwarans to move the state forward.
He thanked all his supporters across the state for their unrelenting support by believing in the mission to *make Kwara work again.
He disclosed that himself and APN didn’t challenge outcome of the March 9 governorship election at tribunal despite omission of their party logo on ballot paper by INEC in the interest of state.
According to him they decided to let go of the case after reviewing the outcome of the election.
“Kwarans spoke with loud voice through their votes. I will urge INEC to be dutiful and diligent to avoid such mistake in future polls”, he added.
