Vision FC on Wednesday emerged winners of late Musayo U-13 soccer tournament organized by Ilorin West Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) after thrashing Future Stars 4-0 at the final played at Sheikh Abdulkadir playing ground.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Chairman Kwara YSFON Mall Ademola Kiyesola commended the organizers for a successful tournament and for keeping YSFON flag flying in the area.
While appreciating the standard of the tournament, he noted that staging the tournament in memory of late Alhaji Musa Abdulsalami signifies the good life he lived and what he impacted on the people.
He commended the sponsor of the tournament, Alhaja Airat Iyabo Abdulsalam, wife of late Musayo adding that she should take joy in the memorable tournament held in honour of her late husband.
Kiyesola while appreciating the teams that took part in the tournament awarded the two finalists automatic sluts in the coming state U-13 championship.
Making her remark, Ahaja Airat Abdulsalami thanked Ilorin West YSFON for honouring her late husband in such memorable way as she pledged her support for grassroot sports.
