10 minutes to Iftar

This not a time to be staring at the foods, fighting over food and drinks desperately filling the plates just in case someone takes more.
It’s definitely not the time to just watch the clock or TV second by second – waiting for the adhan to be announced
It is a time of asking Allah to accept everything that you have done throughout the day
It is a period when du’a is accepted and it is a time when Allah grants the wishes of those who call on to Him so take advantage
You can have food everyday of the year, but these 30 iftars – They don’t come around too often.
RAMADAN BOOSTER
COME, LET US ENJOY THE SWEETNESS IN SALAH 16.
THE BEST DUA YOU CAN EVER MAKE.
[Surat Al-Fatihah 6] Guideย  us to the straight path.
In her Juz amma, a basic study, Umm Muhammad wrote :
The supplication in this verse expresses man’s lifelong need for his Creator’s guidance. Just as one cannot worship Him properly except with His help, he cannot continue except with His guidance.
It has been stated by scholars that the best thing one may ask of Allah is guidance because it is the means of attaining the best outcome from worldly life. Ibn โ€˜Abbฤs explained that it is a request to be shown the straight path or to be inspired to follow it. But although the believer has been guided to Islam initially, he must progress beyond that primary stage in order to remain steadfast on the path and avoid deviations. For this reason โ€˜Alฤซ bin Abฤซ แนฌฤlib, Ubayy bin Kaโ€˜b and others described it as a request to be made firm and constant upon the straight path.
Ihdinฤ is the imperative form of hadฤ (to guide or direct) with the attachment of the pronoun nฤ (us) as its object. The guidance referred to here is general and varied in meaning, but it is always inclusive of constancy and renewal. Some of its aspects as stated by the scholars are as follows:
โ€ข How to stay firm and constant on the straight path, which is described as the religion of Islam and its essentials. These include: the six pillars of faith, the five pillars of Islam, its ethical principles and avoidance of what is prohibited in the Qurโ€™ฤn and Sunnah and by consensus among Muslim scholars. The believer asks his Lord for constancy in these matters knowing that people are sometimes shaken in their faith.
โ€ข How to attain an increase in guidance, resulting from the knowledge and insight granted by Allah
โ€ข Guidance in matters that are problematic โ€“ to arrive at the best solution for issues wherein opinions differ. It is guidance toward constancy in one’s approach and methodology, to adhere to truth even though it might not be apparent to others, and to remain firm on the principles of Islam in all circumstances.
โ€ข Guidance concerning options โ€“ to what is best, or at least the lesser evil.
โ€ข How to best worship Allah under all conditions in the manner that most suits one’s particular circumstance according to the priorities of the moment.
Guidance is granted in phases and degrees. One who has been guided in the past remains in need of guidance for the future. There are external causes which require the believer to continually seek renewed guidance. Reassessment is imposed by increased knowledge and experience, by changing circumstances and by environmental demands. Because the need for guidance is constant and enduring, the Muslim has been required to recite “Guide us to the straight path” in every rakสฝah of prayer, asking his Lord to instruct and direct him in every matter that concerns himself and others.
Similarly in ฤ€yah 3:8, Allahย  mentions that people of understanding do supplicate:
โ€˜Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us. Grant us Your mercy: You are the Ever Giving.
Furthermore, the author of the love of Allah states:
There are 2 Siraats. One in this life: the one we spoke of above. The second one, is in the next life – described to be dangerously thin with a โ€œswordโ€™s edgeโ€ sharpness! That is the one that spans over the fires of Hell, over which every one of us must pass if we are to reach Paradise.
โ€œ And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.
Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.โ€ 19 :17-32
If we are firm and steadfast on the first Siraat [the one in this life], then we will be firm on the second [in the next life]. So stability on the second is directly related to the degree of faith and good deeds earned in this life. Our strong faith and good deeds will be our guiding light on that dreadful bridge, amidst the darkness of Judgment Day.
โ€œThe day you shall see the believing men and the believing women, their light running forward before them and on their right..โ€ *Hadeed 57 vs 12) And so accordingly, some will cross it with the quickness of lightning! Some the speed of a shooting star! Some like the wind, some like a speeding stallion, some at running speed, while others will crawl on it with hands and knees, and othersโ€ฆwill fall and never make it…
And the Prophet will stand pleading in desperate prayer, โ€œMy Lord, spare them. My Lord, save themโ€ฆโ€ The Siraat of this life leads us to Allah. The Siraat of the next life leads us to Paradise. Do you now feel how serious this Dua is? โ€œIhdina-Siraat Al-Mustaqeemโ€- Our entire existence depends on it.
So read it from the bottom of your heart whenever u stand in Prayer.
Your Today’s booster.
Beloved, since Ramadan is half, you should pray to Allah and strive that Allah should make the latter part of your Ramadan better than the previous because you do not know if you will have the opportunity to witness another one.
O Allah,ย  make the later part of our life, the best of it ,the last of our action the best of it and the best of our day, the day we meet you. You are the most powerful Lord.
Remember, the SWEETNESS of this world lies in His remembrance and the SWEETNESS of the hereafter lies in seeing Him.
