By Ahmed Ajikobi
The Imam of Sultanat Mosque, Adewole, Ilorin, Sultan Kamaldeen has charged Muslims to take attendance of Juma’at service very seriously, adding that the weekly congregational occupies a special place in Allah’s (SWT) sight among Solat.
Kamaldeen made this known during his sermon (khubah) at the Juma’at service on Friday adding that observers of Juma’at with right intention will be rewarded with paradise by Allah.
According to him, those that perform Juma’at regularly on the Day of Judgement will have a divine light placed on their forehead indicating they didn’t miss the Juma’at prayer which will provide light to cross the bridge underneath where hell is located.
He tasked Muslims to make use of Ramadan period to seek for Allah’s forgiveness which Allah is more prepared to do during Ramadan.
“Allah said He will forgive every sin of Muslims who seek for His forgiveness and decide not to go back to such deed again”.
