There was pandemonium at Magaji compound situated in Okolowo area of the state capital as Vigilante and Kidnappers engaged in a gun battle on Tuesday.
The incident was said to have happened when the suspects invaded the area to unleash terror on the residents.
It was gathered that in the process, the attempt to abduct the Magaji of the community failed as the victim escaped.
It was learnt that, when the gun duel began, one suspect was down while others was said to have sustained injury
According to Kwara Police command spokesperson, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, team of police men are already at the scene.
