Christians urged to serve God diligently

Minister- in- charge of Vine Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Gideon Majekodunmi has stressed the need for Christians to make themselves available for the works of God.
In his sermon on Sunday titled ‘Help Ministry, key to dominion, he urged believers to engage in charity works, which according to him is a form of service to God.
He, however, noted that the sacrifice of a sinner is an abomination to God, adding that the first step in serving in God’s vineyard is to be born-again.
Pastor Majekodunmi then urged Christians to explore their talents for the service of God, saying believers should not just be bench warmers in church.
On the importance of service to God, he cited the example of Biblical Hezekiah who challenged God with his service to Him and his life was prolonged.
He said:” Don’t just expect to receive from God but be willing to give in His service in order to have dominion. The word of God says we should be fervent in prayer and service.”
He reminded Christians that God is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him, urging them to use their dominion to help others.
Meanwhile, Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road, Ilorin has called on Christians to be ready to overcome Satan
In his sermon titled “Defeating Satan, ” he noted that explained that every no one is too big or small to be tempted.
Pastor Aransiola then appealed to the people to submit themselves to God to be a winner in life.
