Kwara SWAN condoles Chairman over mum’s demise

 

The Kwara State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria
(SWAN), has condoled its chairman, Mallam Jimoh Bashir over the death
of his mother, Hajia Jinatu Arike Jimoh.
This was contained in a statement by the state Secretary of the
association, Olayinka Owolewa, yesterday, in Ilorin.
The statement confirmed that Hajia Jimoh died Wednesday morning in
Ilorin at the age of 84.
“All of us at Kwara SWAN will like to offer you our support at this
grievous period.
“We hope that you will take solace in the fact that Hajia Jimoh lived
an exemplary live worthy of emulation.
“We are saddened by the demise of your mother and we pray that Allah
grant her Aljana Firdous.”
The statement added that Hajia Jimoh had since been buried in line
with Islamic injunctions on Wednesday in Ilorin.
The statement urged all members of Kwara SWAN to honour and attend the
fidau which is scheduled to hold 10am on Saturday in Ilorin.
