Fan writes 155 Page Book: ‘Chronicles Of David’ in honour of Davido
Michael Akpanebe, a fan of ’30 Billion Gang’ crooner, Davido has
written a one hundred and fifty five page book; “Chronicles of David,”
which entails the rise of the singer.
The book examines how Davido has become one of the most influential
youth in Africa.
Davido, who has over time carved a niche for himself in the showbiz is
undoubtedly one of the celebrities with strongest fan base.
Speaking on the book, the author said “Fate has put DAVIDO in prime
position to determine the extent to which the Nigerian music will go
in this millennium.
“He has proven himself an adaptable music star, blending perfectly on
virtually all the international track he has had his name on.
“Davido’s iconic status among international acts is a metaphor for the
high pedestal on which he has placed the Nigerian music industry.
The music star attained an impressive position of being the seventh on
the list of most influential African people in the world.
The list was put together by Africa Report.
Three Nigerians made the top 10 in which Dangote is number one, famous
poet & writer; Chimamanda Adichie holds number four position while
Davido holds 7th position.
Davido has been recognized previously by compilers of this kind of
publication, sitting well inside the top 10.
