Gov Abdulrazaq, Ahmed, Sulaiman, Mustapha commiserate with Emir of Ilorin over mum’s death

Following death of  Alhaja Aishat Nma Sulukarnaini Gambari,  mother of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji  Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, a gale of condolence messages have continued to pour in from prominent individuals  in Kwara State.
Prominent among them is  the state Governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who prayed God to grant the deceased al-janat fidraus.
In a statement he said: “We pray Allah to grant the great princess of Ilorin emirate al-jannah firdaus. On behalf of the people and Government of Kwara State, I commiserate with His Eminence the Emir Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari
“We take solace in the fact that Allah blessed Alhaja with long life which she spent serving her creator and humanity.”
The immediate past Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed in his message to commiserate with the Emir, urged the monarch to accept the demise of his mother as will of Allah.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Dr. Muyideen Akorede, he described Alhaja Aisha Sulu-Gambari’s death as a loss not only to the respected monarch but also to the Muslim Ummah, Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State as a whole.
He urged the Emir to take solace in the fact that the queen mother lived a long, fulfilled and fruitful life that will remain a shining example worthy of emulation.
”Our late Queen mother dispensed kindness and warmth to all regardless of their station in life, not minding her exalted position. We pray that Allah forgives her shortcomings and elevates her among the favored in Aljanah”, Ahmed said.
On his part, the Director General National Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman described the Emir’s mother as a God fearing woman who spent her life  worshipping Allah and adhere the the principles of Islam.
In the statement released by his media aides, he said the loss is not just for the immediate family but for Kwarans as a whole, praying that God should grant the Emir fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly,  a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Saliu Mustapha has join others in commiserating  with the Emir over  passing of  his mother.
In a statement issued to journalists in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital through his media aide, he described the late mother of the Emir as a symbol of Islam.
According to him, the late Emir’s mother devoted all her life time to the worship of Almighty Allah and died during a sacred month of Ramadan where Allah forgive all sins and accept duas.
He sympathised with the traditional rulers council in the state, the people of Ilorin Emirates, Council of Ulama and the immediate family of the Emir on the death of his beloved mother.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive her sins and grant her aljanat Fridaus, while praying Allah to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

…IEDPU, RTEAN too

The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union(IEDPU) has sympathised with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the demise of his mother,Alhaja Aishat Bolanta Sulu-Gambari,which occurred on Monday.
The Union, in a statement signed by its Acting National President, Alhaji Yahaya Ahmed, described the death of the queen mother as a remarkable phenomenon and the end of an era considering her several illustrious contributions to national development, particularly to the peace and progress of Ilorin Emirate.
Ahmed, who described the late Alhaja Sulu-Gambari as a fountain and pinnacle of royalty, likened her death to the loss of a whole national library going by her advanced age, experiences and other personal attributes, which are rare to find not only in the Emirate but across Nigeria.
He added that the death of the queen mother on the last day of the just-concluded sacred month of Ramadan was spiritually-significant and an indication that Allah will bless her soul.
The Union added that the death of the matriach of the respected Alimi royal dynasty at this point in time was a monumental loss in view of the fact that the Ilorin Emirate Community and the nation at large requires her worthy advice and contributions in her continuous march to greatness.
Yahaya,however,urged the Emir,the royal family and the good people of Ilorin Emirate to take solace in the fact that the great queen mother lived a very long,productive and exemplary life in the services of Allah and humanity,praying Allah to grant her Al-Janah Fridaus and the good people of Ilorin the fortitude to bear her demise.
In the same vein, the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Kwara State chapter, Alhaji AbdulRahman Olayinka Onikijipa has sympathised with the Emir of Ilorin and the Chairman of the Kwara State Council of traditional rulers over the death of his Mother, late Hajia Ayishat Nma Sulu-Gambari.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman, late Ayishat Nma Sulu Gambari lived a life worthy of emulation by all and sundry.
The chairman stated that the late mother of the Emir was committed to service to Allah, and humanity, and demonstrated love to every one during her life time.
According to him, “Late Hajia Aishat Nma Sulu Gambari was a symbol of a good servant of Allah that other women ,the poor and needy have benefited immensely from her ocean of knowledge, experience and wealth.The deceased has left an Indelible mark.”
AbdulRahman then prayed to Allah to grant late Aishat aljanatul fridaus and to the the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
