FG charged to invest on callings of referees

The Federal Government has been charged to invest significantly on the on callings of Nigeria referees in order to meet up with international standard.
Kwara State Director of Sports, Coach Tunde Kazeem stated this on Wednesday while receiving the new executive of Nigeria Coaches Table Tennis Association at the Indoor Sports Hall, Kwara Stadium.
Kazeem said the only way to meet up with international standard is to equip their knowledge and also attend major competitions.
Apart from training and retraining of their knowledge, Kazeem also advised the coaches to improve themselves academically in order to earn more promotion in their various working organisations.
He challenged the new executive to organise seminars among the Nigeria coaches in all the zones of the federation.
The Chairman of all the Directors of Sports in Nigeria charges the new executive on training tour abroad for the players.
He however appreciated the new executive for bringing their first meeting to Kwara state, even as he reiterated his full support to the association.
Speaking earlier, the new Chairman of Nigeria Coaches Table Tennis Association, Coach Aiyelabegan Kehinde promised to make policy that will benefit the association.
Adeniyi Oladipupo, the Secretary of the association thanked the state government for its support on sports development in the state.
