Gov Ahmed swears in Special Advisers

Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed yesterday, swore in nine Special Advisers with a charge on them to synergise with members of the State Executive Council (SEC) and establish good working relationship with other organs of government.

Speaking at the ceremony, held at the council chamber of the Government House, Ilorin, ahead of the SEC, Alhaji Ahmed said the appointment of the aides demonstrates his administration’s determination to put in place stronger machinery which will assist in meeting the aspirations of the people.

He further added that the appointments are premised on professionalism, merit, and experience which, he said, would help accelerate government business.

Alhaji Ahmed urged the appointees to bring to bear their wealth of experience to complement the pace at which the government is pursuing its various programmes.

Responding on behalf of the Special Advisers, Prince Tunji Moronfoye thanked the governor for finding them worthy to serve and assured that they would justify the confidence reposed in them.
