Of stratification
How do they live?
Survival on crumbs
Crumbs at the table
After trading punches
To the amusement
Of those feasting
At the high table
Just like a pawn
On their elaborate
Board of chess game
Of what need is a pawn?
“Honourable” death
At the behest of Queen
Death of a court fool
With a garb of gladiator
Oh! My pitiful Pawn
Pitiable to life itself
And just to make up
The numbers on Board
The pawn was “used”
And just for the crumbs
The people at the tail end
Became pawn at the table
