Ferdinand fears Willian could keep Saka out of starting XI

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand fears that the arrival of Willian from Chelsea could keep Bukayo Saka out of the starting lineup in the new season.
The Brazil international proved his worth on his competitive debut for the Gunners, providing two assists and was involved in the build-up to the opening goal scored by Alexandre Lacazette, who blasted home the rebound after his shot was saved by goalkeeper Marek Rodak.
Saka’s preferred position is winger and it is a similar role played by Willian, meaning one of them has to drop to the bench if Mikel Arteta decides to play offensively and it is unlikely to be the Brazilian given his Premier League experience and ability to unlock defences.
The England U21 international ended last season with a goal contribution of 16 (4 goals, 12 assists), four less than Willian.
