Aribo sets up winner as Rangers stretch unbeaten run to 26 games

Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo produced a man of the match performance for Glasgow Rangers on Wednesday night as he set up the winner in their 1-0 win away at Hibernian.
Unbeaten in 25 league games, the Eagles midfielder was handed his 16th league start of the campaign whilst compatriot Leon Balogun was on the bench for the visitors.
Despite a dominant first period in terms of possession, the visitors were mostly on the back foot as the hosts created more opportunities but both sides went into the break goalless.
The impressive Aribo then set up the game’s only goal, six minutes into the second half as his deft touch in the box found Alfredo Morelos who in turn fired past the goalkeeper to seal all three points.
The Eagles midfielder was rightly adjudged man of the match with a rating of 7.6 as Rangers maintained their 23 points gap over second-placed Celtic with 26 games played.
