Onyekuru bangs brace on Galatasaray debut win

Super Eagles winger, Henry Onyekuru returned to his former club Galatasaray in grand style as he came off the bench to inspire them to an impressive 2-1 win away at Gaziantep FK.
Having struggled for game time at French side Monaco, the former Everton winger completed a loan switch to Turkey and was immediately named in the matchday squad but had to settle for a place on the bench alongside fellow Eagles Etebo and Ozornwafor.
But after failing to find the breakthrough in the first period, head coach Fatih Terim turned made a double change with his golden boy Henry Onyekuru replacing Younes Belhanda at the break.
Despite playing his last competitive fixture last September, the 23-year-old needed just five minutes to further ascertain his importance at the club as he broke the deadlock off a Ryan Babel assist to make it 1-0.
He was then at it again moments later, this time turning home a Mohammed Kerem assist to net his second of the game and put Galatasaray in cruise control.
Alexandru Maxim then ensured a nervy finish when he scored from the spot deep into added time but the visitors held on to claim all three points and move Galatasaray back to second on the log, two points behind leaders Besiktas.
The impressive Onyekuru rightfully picked up the man of the match award as he set a perfect tone for his third stint at the Turk Telekom Stadium.
