Kwara govt charges youths on entrepreneurial mindset 

 

The Kwara State Government has challenged youths to have new mindset towards entrepreneurship rather than embracing thuggery and other social vices that could dent their image and careers.
The state government also restated its readiness to give priority attention to infrastructural development due to its importance to the populace.
The Deputy Governor, Kayode Alabi made this known in Ilorin while receiving in audience Executive and members of Oro-Ago Descendants Union led by its National President, Elder Olatunji Kadir in his office.
Alabi noted that necessary attention would be given to the road and culvert leading to the town for easy transportation of goods and services.
The Deputy Governor equally explained that people would be empowered particularly the youths to make them contribute their quota to economic advancement of their family and the state.
He urged communities in Oro land to be united in order to attract development and use their educational advantage to industrialise the area.
Earlier, the President of Oro-Ago Descendants Union (ODU) lauded the present administration for its willingness to move the state to the next level even as he promised total support and loyalty of his people.
Kadir, however, called for the upgrading of the community’s monarch and the intervention of the state government in some challenges facing the area such as the construction of Oro Ago culvert and the inclusion of indigenes of the community in governance.
