Massive turnout as PDP elects new Ward Excos in Kwara
….appreciates Saraki, Party Supporters for Peaceful Conduct
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State on Saturday elected new ward executive amidst fanfare.
The exercise in 193 wards across the state recorded a large turnout of party stalwarts and members.
National Pilot reports that the party members in Ubandawaki Ward of Ilorin West local government area unanimously adopted a consensus arrangement produced Alhaji Usman Giwa as Chairman and along side other members.
Speaking on behalf of the new executive, Alhaji Usman Giwa appreciated Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and all party faithful who contributed to the success of the peaceful conduct.
He assured the party leadership of the readiness of Ubandawaki Ward to deliver the Ward for the largest political party in Africa, PDP. “No doubt, our Ward is ready to take back power from the clueless All Progressive Congress in the State and at the Federal level”, he said.
