The Kwara South Senator in the 8th Senate, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, has commiserated with the people of Ilala, in Irepodun local government area of Kwara State, over the demise of Aala of Ilala, HRH Oba Abduwahab Osuolale Adeyemi Oyebamire II.
Senator Rafiu today visited Ilala town to condole the family and the people of the community over the demise of the Royal father. At the Palace, Honourable Ayansola Muhammed welcomed the senator and his entourage.
The Asaba of Ilala, High Chief Saheed Olabanji Oyedokun on behalf of other Chiefs, received the Senator and appreciated his visitation and an honour bestowed on the entire community.
Senator Rafiu while signing the condolence register expressed shock over the late monarchโs passing and condoled his family, loved ones and the entire Ilala Community over the ‘irreplaceable loss’.
The federal lawmaker said the late Aala of Ilala was a peace advocate who was committed to the development of his town and subjects. He added that the deceased traditional ruler lived a fulfilled and worthy life.
Senator Rafiu prayed God Almighty to grant the deceased Aljanah Firdaus and give his family and the entire people of Ilala the fortitude to bear the great loss.
