In the recent days, I have seen commendations and condemnation through different platforms which I must acknowledge that the youths in the Kwara PDP structure are taking the bull by the horn. However, it is worthy to note that, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki is a blessing to Kwara and humanity. Hence, the youths need to understand this, see beyond the selfish nature of the older generation and hold themselves tight for the bigger picture.
As much as Kwarans need Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki more, some of our leaders only need him for “per second billing” or “pay as you go” which they have made a norm in the Saraki structure. As young men, we are not bothered about that because it is the culture inherited but we will definitely raise eyebrow when it comes to anything or any step that will negatively affect the teeming youth in the structure.
For the first time in history, youths became men in party politics in Kwara because of their roles and numbers. When it comes to occupying offices of responsibilities from the local to state and even at national level, courtesy of Waziri of Ilorin, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the number increased geometrically.
We used to have flocks of old men handling party affairs, but now we have young men and women occupying spaces and positions at party level due to the fact that we have the involvement of youths in the party activities and also in the executive positions. We have youth representation and inclusion in the State PDP reconciliation and strategy committee, more youths inclusion in the executive positions of the party as produced in the recent party congresses at all levels, and for the first time in history, we saw youths on the national stage, working for the growth and development of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP in Nigeria.
This in no small way has resuscitated my hope that if these young guys can be elevated and given enabling environment to thrive by the youth loving Leader, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, then, I can as well easily climb the ladder. Hence, the need to protect the platform for others to benefit.
Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki is someone I admire so much but I dislike the fact that he turns deaf ears at some of the moves and steps taken by some of the politicians around him. Is it until after they succeed in ditching the hope of the youths or bring down the dynasty completely before he (Dr Saraki) stops shielding these older men?
I wouldn’t have come out to push this to the public but I find it hard to erase somethings off my memory since I got the information of the highest level of betrayal of some of them. At this point, we need to start asking questions as to why Alhaji Adeshina Ojingo, Alhaji Bibire Ajape, Barr. Segun Olawoyin, Arc. Lamidi Akanbi LAMAK, among others attended a meeting to mobilize for Atiku Abubakar in Kwara ahead of the 2023 PDP national convention where our own leader is unanimously agreed to be the sole Candidate from the entire North Central zone in the country.
Of course, the leadership of the PDP will not go against anyone in a relationship with someone from other parts of the country or other political parties in Kwara and Nigeria but when relationship turned out to be strategic meeting in a secret venue to bring down the hope of the youths and distabilise the entire structure, we will definitely take the battle to their door steps and fight with our last strength.
To some people, it looks like blackmail and of course, it will definitely look like one because nobody could believe that after decades of benefitting and selling the Saraki brand, these men can be so dishonourable to hold meeting behind close doors with the Atiku train in Kwara. Yet, they went to the party Secretariat to welcome Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s Contact and Advocacy Committee on North Central Presidential Aspiration led by Alhaji Kawu Baraje at the Kwara PDP state Secretariat, in Ilorin.
Their gut to attend the Abubakar Bukola Saraki presidential campaign visitation meeting after their supposed rebel meeting with Atiku Abubakar’s team called for some questions.
I have not seen where Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki called them to a meeting to express interest in running for the number one seat in the country but I have seen where these treasonous characters pray to God to give Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki the number one seat in the country. Where is the conscience? If other Agbalagbas are yet to experience humiliation, they should ask Alhaji Adeshina Ojingo and how he narrowly escaped from the house of Engr. Kola Shittu, the former PDP State Chairman. But with his recent move alongside Alhaji Bibire Ajape, Segun Olawoyin and others, it is clear that he is unyielding and yet to learn from the lessons few months ago. We have decided to fold our sleeves while waiting for their final moves before giving them reasons why these days are different from those days.
Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki can continue to shield them but the fact that our destinies are tied around this struggle, we will definitely fight this battle ourselves because as young men, every minute and seconds count in our lives. Sit tight, we will prostrate to greet you and even clean your seats for you as our elders but if you think it is still the same politics of “Anyway na way”, we will teach you how to maintain a lane without shifting ground.
Well, I have started asking myself questions about some of these funny dudes and element of ungrateful characters dancing and chatting while welcoming the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Contact and Mobilization Committee on North Central 2023 Presidential agenda as led by Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje to Kwara State.
They should be aware that we see their moves and understand their body languages and we are soldier ready for their gimmicks. The youths who are your children and grandchildren shall in all possible ways correct the disnormalcy in the brains of these ungrateful, disloyal and betrayal elders. It is time for sanity and we shall take up the responsibility ourselves.
To the clowns in APC, you may think all is not well in PDP but far from it. All is well and for the youths to be coming out strong to take their destinies in their hands in their party, you should be prepared that once they are done cleaning their systems, they will come after the opportunistic party that produced the most unviable governor in Nigeria via 2019 election. We will tell Kwarans why they stopped giving account of every kobo made through KWIRS and how some of the APC thieves revived their companies in Ghana.
