Kwara LG Chairmen of PDP declare support for Saraki’s 2023 presidential bid.
The sixteen Local Government Chairmen Forum of the Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ilorin has today declared their support for Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s 2023 Presidential bid.
Addressing newsmen in Ilorin the state capital, the chairman of the Association of LG PDP Chairmen in Kwara State, Abdulkadir Issa noted the nation is going through a tough time in every sector, noting that Nigeria cannot sleep with both eyes closed following the high spate of insecurity, adding that the economy is in shambles as daily meal continues to go beyond the reach of the common man.
They noted that Investors are not willing to come forth while corruption continues to eat deep into the fabrics of the nation under the All Progressive Congress, APC, led administration.
While noting that the former Senate President remains the most qualified, competent and credible choice for the party and for Nigeria come 2023, the forum also noted that his record of performance as President of the Senate, Chairman 8th National Assembly and as two term Governor of Kwara State made him more qualified as president.
They noted that Saraki possesses all rudimentary knowledge and understanding to fix Nigeria.
All the chairmen were present and signed the document which was delivered to the representative of the Party leadership, Alhaji Kayode Yusuf Maja for onward delivery to the state executive members and its leadership in general.
