Toyin Saraki demands justice for murdered 5-year-old Hanifa

Barrister Toyin Saraki, wife of former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has joined league of Nigerians demanding justice for 5-year-old Hanifa who was murdered in cold blood recently in Kano State.
In a tweet on Twitter handle on Sunday, Mrs. Saraki expressed shock over the ugly development.
The World Health Organization (WHO) Foundation Ambassador for Global Health tweeted, “Shocked and saddened to learn that little Hanifa Abubakar, who was reportedly kidnapped from her school, for a ransom, has been found dead.
She prayed for her family to find the strength to bear the tragedy, just has she urged that justice should be served.
“I pray for her family to find the strength to bear the tragedy, and that justice is served.May her soul rest in peace,” she added.
It would be recalled that Hanifa was kidnapped on December 4th 2021 in Kano State and subsequently killed by her abductors.
Her abductors, among whom was proprietor of her school, Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko had earlier reportedly demanded N6 million ransom.
But according to the police, after collecting the N6 million, she was murdered and buried in a shallow grave.
Abdulmalik was said to have confessed to have killed Hanifa with rat poison and conspired with another suspect to bury her in a shallow grave within the school premises.
