Gubernatorial election: Saraki wins polling unit for Yaman, defeats Gov AbdulRazaq

By Ahmed Ajikobi
Former Senate President,  Bukola Saraki has won his polling unit 005 for PDP gubernatorial candidate Shuaib Yaman Abdullah.
Saraki delivered his polling unit with the vote of 240 for PDP, while APC struggled to get 55.
Saraki while addressing news men earlier after he has exercised his franchise with his wife Toying, commended INEC performance that they started early as they have corrected what happened in the February Presidential and National Assembly election.
He noted that the turn-out was low for some reasons,” people were disappointed with the whole process of the last election. We still appealed to many people to come out and vote.
“ We hope INEC will have learned from what happened last election and what they have done to the image of our country. Once the results have counted and announced, they will upload the results as they promised.”
“ I don’t think the issue of INEC is that of technology. I have seen the election in Osun. We cannot rule out that it was made intentionally not to work in the last election. Let us see what will happen. If it works today, we have to ask the question that while the technology works in this Gubernatorial and House of Assembly election why it didn’t work in the last election and see what it’s done to the confidence of Nigeria.”
