Breaking News: Kidnapped Wife Of Slain Koro Monarch And Other Captive Released

Wife of the slain Olukoro of Koro Ekiti in Kwara State and the other captive have regained their freedom.
National Pilot was exclusively informed that the Olori was released last night and arrived Koro town at about 10.45 pm.
According to Chief Ayobola Samuel, the Asiwaju of Koro, who broke the cheering news “The news just received from home confirms that Olori and the girl have been released and have returned to Koro about 30 minutes ago. To God be the glory”.
It is recalled that Oba Olusegun Aremu-Cole, Olukoro of Koro-Ekiti, was assassinated by suspected Kidnappers in his palace on Thursday night while his wife and another person were abducted.
The Kidnappers who eyewitness described as Bororo Fulani reportedly struck at about 9pm, shooting sporadically in the air.
The gun shots sent people running for dear lives.
The Kidnappers, according to sources in the town went straight to the palace where they met the royal father on the veranda preparing to take his dinner.
He was shot dead and his wife, an adopted child and another person were reportedly taken away by the kidnappers.
