As the Easter Celebration is ongoing, the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has urged Christians to continue praying for communities and Nigeria as a nation.

“As you all gather to celebrate with your family and friends, amidst the celebrations, the festivities, and the laughter, we must all continue to pray for our communities and our nation.”

Saraki stated this in a congratulatory message posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

He described the festive day as one that symbolizes the power of love and sacrifice.

Saraki, while urging Christians to remember those on the frontlines who cannot celebrate with their loved ones, emphasized the importance of extending heartfelt prayers and gratitude to those making sacrifices for the nation.

The full congratulatory messages read; “As our Christian brothers and sisters across the nation and the world settle in to celebrate Easter, I congratulate all who are celebrating the significance of today which symbolizes the power of love and sacrifice, and the enormous responsibility that comes with faith.

“The former senate President Dr Bukola Saraki said this on his Facebook page today while celebrating with Christian brothers and sisters.

“As you all gather to celebrate with your family and friends, amidst the celebrations, the festivities, and the laughter, we must all continue to pray for our communities and our nation.

“We must also remember our men and women on the frontlines, many of whom are unable to celebrate with their families today.

“Hence, let us all extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest gratitude to them and their families for the sacrifices that they continue to make for this nation.

“On this note, my family and I wish you and yours a wonderful Easter that is filled with the warmth of family and the laughter of celebration.”
