Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) have announced a reduction in charges for NIP (NIBSS Instant Payment) for their customers.
The bank in a text message sent to their customers said, “Dear Customer, we have reduced the charges on NIP transfers. This means that, you now pay N40 only when you transfer money to other Banks via *737#.”
Some of the bank customers along Unity road were seen discussing the reduction, urging other banks to follow suit.
The Nigeria Interbank Settlement System Instant Payment (NIP) is an electronic funds transfer.
