Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC), remains the party of hope for sustainable growth and development of the country.
The governor while receiving members of the APC Ward and Local Government congresses Appeal Committee in his office, on Tuesday said Kwara State remains committed to the party and will work hard to ensure its success in the state.
Governor Ahmed noted that the peaceful conduct of the ward congresses in the state was a clear demonstration of loyalty and commitment of APC leadership in the state to the ideals of the party and reflection of inclusive leadership style in the state.
“We’re committed to the APC. We believe in the vision and mission of the party. We remain a strong member of this party”, Gov Ahmed said.
The Chairman, APC Appeal Committee for the state, Alhaji Mohammed Diggol commended the APC-led government in the state for its giant strides in ensuring that the party remains strong in the state.
“We also hail your administration for the various constructions going on in the state despite your meagre resources. The Diamond under pass, the road projects and the street lights are particularly commendable”, the APC chieftain said.
Diggol attributed the developmental strides and peaceful coexistence enjoyed across the state to qualities of continuity in governance.
He said his team was examining the outcome of APC ward congresses held last weekend in most parts of the country, listen to grievances, investigate and recommend resolutions to national body of the party.
Diggol assured Governor Ahmed that his team would fulfil all righteousness and ensure a fair hearing to all aggrieved individuals.
