2019: Cleric calls on Nigerians to seek God’s intervention

Nigerians have been charged to seek for God’s intervention towards the 2019 General Elections.
The Pastor-in-charge of zone, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Glorious Cathedral Kwara Province 4 Headquarters, Olorunsogo Ilorin, Odekunle Seun Emmanuel made the disclosure during the 30th Anniversary of the church yesterday.
He said, “my message to Nigerians is that let us be more prayerful, we need to pray so that the will of God be done in Nigeria come 2019.
“One thing that is sure is that the devil will not prevail over Jesus come 2019 because God has the final say over Nigeria.
“God will be enthroned in every level of government and my message to everybody is to be prayerful in order to pull down the altar of the devil that is raising its ugly head against the will of God.
“I can assure you that in 2019, God will surprise us and put his people from local government to the highest political position in Nigeria. God says, ‘ I’m the lord of all flesh and there is nothing impossible for him because Jesus is in-charge.
Emmanuel called on Nigerians to shun all kinds of atrocities and violence adding that this is not the time to apportion blames but a time to focus on God through prayers for success in 2019.
Speaking on the theme of the anniversary, ‘moving forward’ the cleric said, “let us forget all our failures, disappointment and achievements in the past and press forward to where God is taking us.
Pastor Odekunle expressed his delight at the 30th anniversary celebration saying that the church has witnessed a lot of challenges to attain its present status.
He said, “we appreciate those that God has touched in building this church today and we are urging our members to remain prayerful and steadfast in their faith to achieve God’s blessing at last.”
