Bolaji meets Ilorin West elders

 

Ahead of the 2019 gubernatorial elections in Kwara State, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi yesterday consulted elders of PDP across Ilorin West LGA.

The train started in his ward, Ubandawaki and moved around the entire wards that made up the Ilorin West LGA. Omoluabi, as he is popularly known, received a rousing welcome in all the wards and the constituency offices at Alanamu Central.

In his speech, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi expressed interest in running for the position of governor of Kwara State in the 2019 general elections. “I had an humble beginning just like anyone who grew up in Anifowoshe. I schooled at Barakah LGEA School. Today, to the glory of God, I am standing before you to tell you I will be vying for governorship in the forthcoming elections. My achievements in the various offices I have occupied speak volume and I hope you will support me because without you there is no Bolaji”, Omoluabi told a gathering of party elders and youths.

The elders took turn to welcome Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi and expressed confidence that Omoluabi’s ambition will materialise. The former IEDPU National President, Alhaji Abdulhameed Adi who hails from the same zone (Anifowoshe) with Omoluabi, pledged his support for Mallam Bolaji Abdullah and urged all and sundry that want sustainable development for Kwara State to support him in the 2019 elections. In the same vein, party elders across Kwara Central express confidence that Bolaji Abdullahi as governor will continue the good work he has been doing in other public offices he has occupied.

In his response, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi thanked the elders for their warm reception and acceptance. He also promised to continue to be responsible and responsive to the demands and yearnings of the people.
