2019: Bolaji Abdullahi tours Kwara South, seeks royal blessings

The Governorship aspiration of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi yesterday, received a boost as he sought royal blessings from Kwara South traditional rulers.
Abdullahi, who is contesting on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was guest of the royal fathers at their palaces.
While speaking with the monarchs, the former minister explained that his experience in public service and the love to serve his people spurred him to join the governorship race in the state.
At the Elerin’s palace, Oba Abdulganiyu Ajibola Ibrahim (MFR) Olusokun II prayed for the success of Abdullahi in the forthcoming governorship election.
Oba Abdulganiyu described the aspirant as a man of integrity who have been tested, trusted and reliable.
“We have confidence in you because you have done it in the past and we are very sure that you will not disappoint our trust,” Oba Abdulganiyu said.
At the Olofa’s Palace, Oba Mufutiu Gbadamosi, Esuwoye II, prayed for God’s guidance.
“It is God that knows everything, you have done what you supposed to do and God will make you to achieve what you are looking for”.
Abdullahi was also at the Palace of the Olosi of Osi, Oba Salihu AbdulKareem Adasofegbe who also blessed his ambition.
Meanwhile, it was a glorious day for the guber hopeful as thousands of his supporters cutting across Kwara South trooped out to give support for his governorship ambition during the tour.
Speaking on the purpose why he is in the race, Abdullahi said his political philosophy was engineered towards the welfare of the people, youth development and empowerment and education development.
