The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Irepodun/Ekiti/Isin/Oke-Ero federal constituency, Hon Jimoh Saheed Alatise has called on the citizens to elect credible and responsible individuals into office to enjoy dividends of democracy.
Alatise who stated this in an interview with National Pilot on Saturday, said quality representation can only be achieved through the choice of individuals voted into office who will not detach themselves from the people.
He added that there is the need to have as National Assembly members, those who would be committed and conscientiously cater for the people’s interests through relevant bills.
The House of Representatives hopeful assured his constituency of quality representation adding that his blueprint to develop the constituency is ready.
He promised to be accessible if elected and also maintained his links with the grassroots.
While stating that he and members of his party, the PDP, has not in any way experienced election worries ahead of the by-election, Alatise said the people of his constituency is ready to provide necessary support towards electoral victory come Saturday.
