The joint plant dealers Association, Odo-okun, Ilorin has pledged their political support and loyalty to the leadership of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
Speaking on behalf of the association with our reporter in his office, yesterday , the chairman, Alhaji Gani Na’Allah said the plank dealers in saw mail area of Ilorin are solidly behind the Kwara leader.
He said, the Senate President has displaced a quintessential leadership quality that has placed Kwara State among its pears in the country in the recent time.
“Saraki remain our leader in Kwara and we cannot pay allegiance to a Lagos politician, “Na’Allah said.
“The act of magnanimity of the Senate President has no bounds. Recently, he assisted some market traders in Kwara state with handouts to cushion their trades, and this goes a long way to plough back to the state economy .”
NaAllah however used the medium to appeal to the Senate President to extend such aids to plank traders in Odo-Okun,Ilorin in the next coverage.
“We equally want Dr. Bukola Saraki to use his office position to give us a solar plant at our market to curtail the activities of criminal at night.
He further stressed that plank dealers in Sawmill are up to 3,000 in number with prompt payment of their taxes to the appropriate agency that is worth over N20m in a year.
“We want the state government under the leadership of our able Governor, Alhaji. Abdulfatah Ahmed to also come to our aid to justify our promptness to tax payment. ”
In his remark, the secretary of the association, Alabi Ademuyiwa lauded Saraki for his steadfastness toward taking Kwara to the next level.
“We plank dealers are set to en mass vote for the candidate of People’s Democratic Party in the forthcoming 2019 general election. We have our PVC intact to show our unalloyed support for the leadership of the Senate President”, he stressed.
