Ekiti LG PDP ward chairman restate commitment to Saraki’s leadership

Ward chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the ten wards in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State have reaffirmed their loyalty and commitment for the national leader of party and immediate past Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON).
The declaration of support for Saraki’s leadership was the highlight of their monthly rotational meeting held at Eruku ward, Ekiti Local Government Area at the weekend.
Speaking during the meeting, the chairman of PDP Ward Chairmen in Ekiti, Chief Agboola Ayodele from Opin ward appreciated the former president of the 8th Senate of Federal Republic of Nigeria for his positive leadership roles despite the party’s failure in the last general election.
Ayodele stressed further that all the lies and propaganda used against Saraki and the PDP during the last general election are now obvious for everybody to see.
According to him, “We don’t see ourselves as opposition to the present government led by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, because all the lies and propagandas that were sponsored and used against Saraki dynasty in last general are now obvious to Kwarans.
“No matter how fast lies travelled, the truth will surely catch up with it one day. That is the exact situation playing out in Kwara”, he noted.
In addition, Comrade Said Abdulrasaq Ade chairman Osi ward l and the secretary to the PDP ward chairmen Ekiti LGA applauded the PDP State chairman, Engr. Kola Shittu for his sustained effort to bring and reviving party back to alive, He urged the state chairman not to relent his unflinching support for the party and pray for greater Kwara.
In his closing remarks during the meeting, Mr Adio Olayinka (Baji) the PDP chairman Obbo-Ile ward enjoyed the party faithful to continue with their support for the party at local, state and national levels.
He announced that the next date for the monthly rotational meeting has been scheduled to come up on the 26th of September 2019, at Obbo Aiyegunle ward l, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
