Be God fearing, Christians urged

Christians have again been charged to change their ways of life, accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour and be God fearing in their every day dealings.
A Cleric, Pastor Wale Ajayi gave the charge yesterday in his sermon delivered at the 54th anniversary of Mary Band, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Speaking on the Topic “Lord take away my reproach among men”, Pastor Ajayi identified various reproaches that could afflict a person calling on the people to move closer to God.
The Cleric said the failure and sin of man brought reproach into the world, urging Christians to be born again.
In his message titled “Divine intervention”, Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road, Ilorin noted that there are certain situations that people find themselves that it is only the hand of God that can bring them out.
Pastor Aransiola explained that as God intervened in those days, He still does today as Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
The Cleric added that God still loves to intervene in seemingly impossible situations, advising Christians to Invite Him today and He will surprise believers.
The Founder of the Believers Vineyard Church, Agbo-oba, llorin, Pastor Akin Obadofin charged leaders at all level to exhibit good virtues and live an examplary life worthy of emulation.
Pastor Obadofin said this would potrary them better in the society thereby enabling their subjects follow suit.
Speaking at the ongoing twenty one day supernatural week of operation Lazarus, Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo, re-assured the Congregation that with God nothing shall be impossible urging them to look unto Him alone as all power belong to Him.
Prophet Femi Emmanuel of the Agbara Olorun lgbani wasibe worldwide, Gbagede, emphasised the need for Christians to worship God wholeheartedly as the only solutions to their challenges.
