Logun gate: KWIRS, Abdulfatah’s administration, 2019 elections and betrayal of Saraki

By Oladimeji Shuaib Agaka
We saw it coming. The handwriting was clearly written for discerning
mind and only the gullible failed to realise that the immediate past
administration of Abdulfatah Ahmed sold the Saraki dynasty to the
opposition.
Emerging events is now showing that the man who was brought from his
obscure banking position to the famous Ile Arugbo where he became
finance commissioner for eight years and governor for eight years is
actually the architect of the downfall of the man who brought him to
fame and limelight.
So the government installed by Bukola Saraki is the chief financial of
the opposition dolling out several hundreds of millions to APC through
Adisa Logun.
The recent revelations of how Logun collected only God knows how much
from KWIRS has clearly vindicated those of us who cried to high
heavens that our government has completely sold out prior to the 2019
elections.
The tactics is very much clear to those who can read between the
lines. Don’t fight Saraki but bastadise his government knowing fully
well the public will blame Bukola Saraki for all atrocities of the
administration he put in place. This is because of the general
perception that Abdulfatah Ahmed will do nothing without the consent
of Bukola Saraki.
How else can one justify former governor Ahmed’s refusal to pay LG and
SUBEB salary after taking over their revenue through KWIRS and yet he
declared openly that he is not owing them but their respective
chairmen should be held responsible.
How on earth can we justify Ahmed’s administration spending a whopping
six billion naira on solar street lights and leaving Kwara roads
especially the state capital roads unattended to.
How would a rational person justify the deliberate total neglect of
our dilapidated schools without renovation.
Can any sane person justify the deliberate emasculation and neglect of
the state owned tertiary institutions depriving them of subvention and
KWIRS taking over their revenue sources. Remember it took AA less than
three months to offset the salaries of these institutions what Ahmed
administration cannot do in four years.
Can someone explain to me the total neglect of party faithfuls by
Ahmed’s administration to the point that everyone became less
concerned treating party issues with non challant attitude.
So, the money Abdulfatah Ahmed was shouting was not available to our
own party (PDP) and to our own party faithfuls is secretly being
channelled to opposition party to fight us and kick us out of
government.
The irony of the whole matter is that Bukola Saraki was so trusting to
the extent he never suspected nor listen to the few voices warning him
of the danger posed by these betrayals disguising as loyalists.
As the EFCC investigate this matter we hope more revealing secrets of
how we were betrayed would be exposed.
Unless those in PDP and those of us who claimed to be true Sarakites
wants to pretend otherwise, this is the time for self examination and
time to deal with betrayals amongst us.
Just as Bisi Kristen will say I was just passing by but the leadership
of Saraki dynasty must do its own thorough investigation.
Why and how we failed in the last election is being revealed.
