Fidau for Sanusi Alohunmata (Alhaji Madinah) holds, Thursday

The National President of Old Students Association, Bukola Ansarul Islam High School, Budo-Are, Engr. Akano Shuaib Ologele has said the fidau for a retired principal of the school, Alhaji Abdulwahab Sanusi Alohunmata is slated for Thursday, 16th July, 2020.
The late Alohunmata died on 11th July, 2020 after a brief illness at the age 83 and has since be buried according to Islamic right.
The late Islamic scholar, was formerly Principal of Bukola Ansaru Islam High School, Budo-Are, Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State. He was also the erstwhile Principal of School of Arabic and Islamic Study, Jebba.
Alohunmata was born in 1938 in Ilorin and was trained by his father, Alfa Nla Alohunmata. He was sent to Offa and Erinle for further training in 1943 before coming back to Ilorin in 1945.
In 1966 he was given scholarship by Sheik Muhammed Kamaldeen Al-Adaby to study at Cairo University.
He returned to Nigeria in 1976 when he was posted to Sokoto State for his mandatory service.
On his return to Ilorin, he got employed by the Kwara State Ministry of Education through Ansarul Islam secondary Schools.
He worked briefly in Okelele Secondary School, Ilorin, before he was posted to Arabic teachers College Jebba.
Late Sanusi, was the longest serving Principal at Bukola Ansarul Islam secondary School, Budo-Are. After leaving Budo Are, he worked in some other schools in the state before retiring.
He was Missioner at Kwara Muslim Women Associations of Nigeria, among other Islamic associations of repute that he can link with while alive.
