By Adetunji Ayobrown
There are many theories, but few are proven facts, and only the tuned will get and pick reasonable reasons in the gist. Who doesn’t know that only government can supply herdsmen with AK-47, cows don’t give birth to guns. Nothing new though, but herdsmen emphasis is worthy of national note
Appreciation of his vows to reveal the identities of people behind the abduction of over three hundred students of Government Girls’ Secondary School, Jangebe in the Talata Mafara Local Government Area of the state, Zamfara Governor, Bello Matawalle truth seems to be true, self-fulfilling and already on autopilot.
From the statement, everybody knows truth has its quality. Fulani herdsmen’s claim in a viral video recorded during one of the several meetings between popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, one of the herdsmen, addressing the crowd, pointed out simple truth…. cows don’t give birth to guns.
‘We are only herdsmen. Cows don’t give birth to guns. I swear to Allah, we are on our own and the government supplies AK47 to us. I am not afraid to say the truth’.
Buhari government is being accused of giving Miyetti Allah N100billion, a minister tried in his defence. Government is being accused of giving Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN) money because to divert attention from ongoing killings. Killings by herdsmen and alleged money given to them, many Nigerians narrated how these seem to tally.
Revelations according to Jangebe, many terrible stories from these ugly series. Unbelievable and incredible at it sounds. Arrest of a military personnel and his girlfriend who are supplying weapons and military uniforms to the criminal.
There were over 30,000 bandits in Zamfara forests, a number that far outweighs the less than 10,000 troops deployed to the state to tackle insecurity. Revelations to the new service chiefs, as narrated by traditional rulers of the state.
Another revelation; Zamfara APC members offered bandits N56m to hold Jangebe girls is first of many headlines or in series aftermaths of the kidnap of Zamfara School girls. Except the governor too is also truly a collaborator, the whole story and nothing but the truth people behind the kidnappings and their spies.
And another… subject your telephone numbers to security checks. Many are confident that many unpleasant stories that will definitely be shocking will be made known.
Victims of their own wickedness, Nigerians have to develop some machineries inside their guts to turn off election riggers who have nothing good to offer. The highhandedness of some office holders turned to this pure callousness.
They think they got game but the game got them. hailed the governor for removing the Emir of Maru, Abubakar Chika and Lawal Ahmed, a district head of Kanoma for allegedly giving support to bandits.
Series of actions and choices which transpired in secrecy are now in the open. FG’s meeting with members of the Miyetti Allah, though they claim no issue of money was discussed.
As it is on auto-revealing, mere statement doesn’t set men apart but the distance he is willing to go about truths in his stances. Many commended the Governor for opening up but now facts are struggling for space. APC leaders in the state are offering about 56 million naira to bandits to refuse the release of the abducted girls….Jangebe series.
Fluid situation with lots of surprising revelations. When different many stories seem same, right, fit, and correct narrating how innocent people are being killed by guns bought with their scarce resources by their government officials supervised by elected politicians.
Neither out of comment nor out of content, who are those in government supplying weapons and ammunitions to bandits and kidnappers. Reports described information that government gave the group money as the fabrication of mischief makers, but let us not leave this to posterity alone. This is the time for all citizens to ask questions on the nation’s unity and co-existence.
Nothing stay hidden forever, Nigerians are awaiting the ‘revelations of the abducted schoolgirls’, according to the courageous governor; as nothing surprises no one anymore, Matawalle’s declaration only reaffirm people’s suspicion.
Kai! but for men like this. Military personnel and his girlfriend supplying weapons and military uniforms to kidnappers and bandits. All these actions can never be easy or possible except for internal backings and help. But who else are his collaborators, enemies of state? Nigeria security agencies should do all that is needed and necessary to flush out bad eggs among them, for the right time is now.
Anyone who never possess a heart can never die of heart attack. what comes out first definitely will not will come out last, many are confident that the story that will come out of many kidnapping cases will be more than shocking. Challenge to all concerned politicians from both the ruling and opposition parties to subject their telephone numbers to security checks. Our security operatives know what is needed to be done but political will on the part of the elites, the ruling class is seriously worsening the insecurity situation in the country.
victims of our own wickedness, the information being spread is the fabrication of mischief makers trying to divert from the matter facing us, which is the killing of innocent citizens.
Prove this right, Fulani Herdsmen are better than kidnappers and bandits. But how Fulani herders understood usage of Russia made Avtomat Kalashnikov Soviet assault rifle better than all our security agencies combined is seriously worrisome.
Fulani herders are only seen as jungle evils. But Fulani men are better than this. Only the government that lacked in good and better initiatives empower with brutal machine like AK-47 guns. Let us all try all our possible bests perhaps we are on the verge of making what is deemed impossible a reality in Nigeria.
