Destiny and passion brought me into business – CEO Productive Institute
Akintunde Kayode’s journey to business stardom won’t have been accomplished if not hackling to the call by destiny and passion.
According to him; “right from my days in the college I have owed venturing into business in high esteem, as despite my vast academic achievement, I declined to seek for white collar job which in the real sense was not available.
My parents were not rich as I can still recollect vividly that I hawk pepper, gari and other menial enterprise for my parents.
“I started my business with N25,000, which I manage to raise doing coaching all around. Nobody bothers to come to my aid then than to resort to my personal efforts”.
Today, my institute has fully-grown beyond my imagination as for now I am an employer’s of labour. I have about 11 staff under my pay roll.
Kayode advises Nigerian youth on the need to take their destiny in their hands and learn how to maximise opportunities.
“The truth is that there is no white collar job anywhere. We should endeavour as a youth to tap from many business ideas God had deposited in us. There is nobody created by God without a peculiar business trait.”
Kayode is a Master Degree Holder in Educational psychology from University of Ilorin.
He however charges youth on the imperativeness of being honest in any enterprise they found themselves.
“Even if you are going to be selling Gari, be honest with it and surely you will excel in it”.
